The rumors have been flying around Mo-town these past couple of days about who should start for the Piston: Richard Hamilton, or recently aquired Allen Iverson.
What did Michael Curry decide to do? He kept both in the starting lineup.
His starting lineup was as follows:
Rodney Stuckey PG
Allen Iverson SG
Richard Hamilton SF
Tayshaun Prince PF
Rasheed Wallace C

Rip Hamilton was reported taking part in mondays practice with the rest of his Pistons teammates*. This is the first time that he has participated in practice since his injury 8 games ago.
With Rip now back in the lineup Michael Curry has a few choices to make about his starting lineup. Questions, Questions?
He was quoted [...]

Rip Hamilton, before the Pistons road game against the Jazz, told when asked by reporters what he thought about coming off the bench once he was fully healthy again that starting was his only option.
“That’s the only option,” he said.
When he was reminded that Curry thought about going back to the bigger more traditional lineup [...]

As many of us Piston fans have heard, Antonio McDyess has quite the knack for getting injuries these days. That is not to say that he doesn’t play though. He is quite the Warrior and guts it out through every game. Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press said that seeing McDyess after the game [...]

The Pistons are currently 0-6, when they have a game played on Sunday, with 8 more to go. It doesn’t matter if they have played the game at home or on the road (their last two losses have been on the road against the Atlanta Hawks, and the New York Knicks). Is that reminiscent of [...]

The Pistons have been doing fine as of late without two of their key starters, but when will they be coming back to contribute to the team?
Starting SF Rip Hamilton has missed the last 4 games that the Pistons have had and is still day to day. He has been diagnosed with a slight tear in [...]

Now 33, and still running around the court with the young guns of this league, Allen Iverson has been known as always being a basketball magician. Lets take a step back and look at his career.
12 years ago he was drafted out of Georgetown University as the first round, first pick of the 1996 draft. [...]

Chris McCosky wrote a great article about Micheal Curry and how he may be rethinking his small line-up strategy.
The only advantage that can be seen from reverting back to the bigger starting line-up is that there will be that defensive aspect that the Pistons have been desiring for so long during this season.
“The big lineup [...]

Since the beginning of this current NBA season, Michael Curry has toyed with the starting lineup a few times. Ok, a few is an understatement but none the less there has yet to be a set starting five for every game.
He has now decided to start games this season with this lineup:
Rasheed Wallace (C)
Tayshaun Prince [...]

I’m not sure if a lot of people caught this quote yesterday on what McDyess said about AI, but here it is:
The Pistons need to adjust to AI more than AI adjusting to the Pistons.
AI needs a breakout game scoring at home and tonight would be a good start.
Iverson needs to start playing like an [...]
